Hello,

is there a limit of the results of the function "List Files in Folder" for OneDrive for Business? I get only 20 Elements. Is this a Bug?

Thank you

    Hi @Anonymous ,

The "List file in folder" action has limit with 20 items in microsoft flow currently.

If you would like the limitation to be increased or don't want to have the limitation, you could vote for idea in flow idea forum so it might be considered in the future releases:

Wow!! This is the most ridiculous decision I have ever heard!!   Who wants automation for only 20 files...!!!  Even worse, let's not indicate anywhere (tooltip, name) about this ridiculous limit and have people spend hours troubleshooting why only 20 files get ever returned...

It would be faster to rename 20 files by hand!   Either rename the pathetic action to "list on 20 files" or  please remove this unusable limit ASAP...

    Hi!

There is a overwrite solution that will solve your problem.

    • Go to the action settings

      - Turn on Pagination, and set a new maximum
    • Your flow will ignore the maximum off 20 files and use the giving maximum.

    Thanks RorySmit,

your solution worked perfectly in my scenarios. I had the same issue in few flows I created.

    Simple and effective.

    Thank you very much!

Wow... Microsoft is not even responding to stupidly obvious problem...!  It would take them 5 min to increase the limit to a more manageable number like 1,000 or 5,000.  This tool (or this forum) doesn't get enough attention from Microsoft.

This is an example of incompetence or naivety at best by Microsoft Development. A tool for "Automation" developed with a limit of 20 items. (I can manually write 20 items in a database in my sleep!) Why waist hours in learning PA? I can not believe (Actually I can!) I had to turn pagination "On" and set a legitimate threshold limit myself. The lack of up front documentation and the fact that this has been reported as a problem for over 4 years only confirms “Newbies” in charge.
