Removing a URL from a hyperlink list column

Hi all - I'm extremely new to Power Automate and would be very grateful for advise for my flow.

I have a SharePoint list listing all the QRGs we have avialable. Currently I have a flow created that will send out an email when a QRG is marked as either NEW or OBSOLETE. In that email a link is provided directly to the relevant QRG.

The next step I'd like, if possible, is once the QRG is marked as OBSOLETE and the email is sent, I'd like to afterwards have the hyperlink in the SharePoint list to be removed but still have the display text present so you can still see the title of the QRG, but it will no longer be clickable.

I have tried multiple things, but cannot get it to work, I also end up creating a loop as the item being updated is in the same list that triggers the flow itself.

For context here are some of the columns I have in my list:

QRG Title - A hyperlink column containing the URL and display text for the QRG title
Title - the default column, its hidden in the view but also contains the title of the QRG
Status - Choice column for either NEW or OBSOLETE.

Many thanks in advance as always

    Since SharePoint’s Hyperlink column stores both the URL and display text in a single field, you can’t just “unlink” it—you have to replace the field with plain text.

    outputs('Get_item')?['body/QRG_x0020_Title']['description']

    Also you can add a Trigger Condition to your flow

    @not(equals(triggerOutputs()?['body/Status'], 'OBSOLETE'))
