Create Records with Auto-Increment-ID in Dynamics365

Hello everyone,

does anybody know if it is possible to create a new record in Dynamics365 for Operations via PowerApps with PowerApps automatically creating a new/proper ID for the record? (e.g. sales order number).

I know that the Common Data Service creates auto-number IDs when you just don't submit a value for the ID field, but when I try this with Dynamics, i get an error message that the ID field is obligatory.

    Hi Christoph,

     

    I'm afraid that PowerApps cannot automatically create a new/proper ID for the record in Dynamics365 for Operations connection. 

     

    You could post this idea in the PowerApps Ideas forum, so it might be considered for future releases.
