Modern Combobox not showing any user for a People/Group sharepoint column

I have the sharepoint column:-

inside a list named ProjectIntake, and inside my power apps i added a form control, where i got this combobox:-

but currently the list is not showing any user, also if i start typing the username nothing will autocomplete.. any advice?

I have a blog on using Combo Boxes with Person fields which should be of use to you. You also should be aware that the current Items of Choices(ListName.FieldName) will only offer you the people currently in your data set. My blog contains a number of other options allowing searching of your Tenant users.

@WarrenBelz thanks for the link will check it, but why we do not face any issue using the classic combobox? the built-in form use to autocomplete all users out of the box

I do not use Modern controls a lot, so I am not sure. If you follow the options applicable to your requirements in the blog, you should be able to configure your control as required.
