Hi,

I have created a power apps were one sections handles inspections on serial numbers.
This is a customized SharePoint list.

For each serial number I have a combo box (in a custom card) that I call ddInsp1,ddInsp2 .....
The 'Inspections / Year' text box is a result of these ddInsp1.Selected.Result + ddInsp2.Selected.Result....

The problem is that every time I open the customized form from SharePoint again it's reset to default Since there is no connection to any column (thisitem.insp1 does not exist.).

Is there any way for data to stay in that custom card when you open the item next time or do i have to create a column for each input?

    Hi @exerge

The only option is to have a real column in Sharepoint to store those values since you are expecting to edit. I have seen in some cases with no edit scenario, so they can use the custom card but in your case need to store the value in Sharepoint.

if it's a text value then probably we can split the string and set the default but your case is a number and no option other than strong it in Sharepoint.

    Hi,
This is what I think as well (would like to avoid though),
sometimes there is workarounds figured asking in forums is worth a shot.
    Thank you.
