request for an explanation on a connector in preview

Hello,
I would like to know what the terms previwe of a connector mean?

is this a demo phase and will be removed from the catalog?

Or is it a connector which is in the development phase and which encounters bugs?

Because I have a connector which is in preview, it interests me.
