Outlook get email unable to find email from subfolder

Hi,

 

I have a Canvas app where I want to reply to an email, but for some reason the outlook.getEmail isn't able to find my email unless its inside the inbox folder.

Is there a way to get the email even when its inside a subfolder, because I don't see the option to specify the folder?

 

I tried using getEmail() and getEmailV2() both didn't work...

 

Any ideas?

    According to the connector documentation you should be able to pass a Folder parameter:

    You need to specify the folder path in your formula:

    @BCBuizer and @v-jefferni,

     

    I see, but what about the getEmail method not getEmails?

    Because I already have a message id and want to retrieve that specific email in order to send an email with custom To, Cc and Bcc contacts and the conversation history (so kinda like reply to but only with different contacts).

    Unless I can specifiy a messageID aswell in the getEmails method and get only 1 email back?

    Hi,

    Are there any updates on this???
    I need to find a way to get an email using a message-id from a subfolder.
    I checked the documentation but it seems like the getEmails method does specify a folderpath, but you cannot search by message-id. While the getEmail does work with the message-id but only gets emails from the inbox.
    Is there any way to combine both, so I can get an email using the message-id and get the email from a subfolder?

    Any ideas?
