Flow to wait for task in planner to complete

I am creating a flow that creates a task in microsoft planner for me to followup on. Is there any way to pause the flow until the task is completed? I would prefer to not have to give approval in a separate email as well as check off the task being completed.

Hello @adamsellsnj ,
what's the purpose for your flow? I mean, you could terminate your flow with the Task creation and create another Power Automate flow using the Trigger "When a task is completed", so that you can follow up.

I appreciate your reply. Maybe you have a suggestion for a better way to do what I'm looking for.

I created a SharePoint site, and am looking to create a step by step onboarding for new hires, which would create tasks for me to follow as I set them up, and send automated emails to them. Ideally, it would be visible on SharePoint to show where in the process they are and what's next (perhaps it uses whatever stage it's in based on the flow to highlight or check a box off)

I have the same question:
My flow creates a new bucket w/ 7 unique tasks. I'm then monitoring each of tasks's status using a do until. When all tasks are marked as complete, the flow continues.
The "do until" is not ideal as there are limits to the iterations of "do until": https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-automate/limits-and-config#concurrency-looping-and-debatching-limits
What would be ideal is a "create and wait for planner task completion" similar to "create and wait for Approval".
