How can I use model driven form within a custom canvas app ?

I have a custom canvas page in a model driven context and I wish to have access to table forms within that page directly (without navigation) - ideally opening quick create forms to minimize navigation outside of the canvas page.

Basically I thought that If we know how a subgrid parent form triggers a quick create form, we could emulate the same behavior through a canvas component... (hopefully).

I would like to see if anyone can guide me here or have gone through something similar.

Attached is what I would like to see when clicking on "Add Module +" button.

Well.. there was a way to do it. And it was hectic 😂.

So I got into PCF Components and integrated a few into my apps, then had to develop one so I could trigger the quick create form to open inline when a click button is pressed.

This line of code opens the quick create form in the custom canvas page.

    Xrm.Navigation.openForm({entityName: this.formDataSourceName, useQuickCreateForm: true, windowPosition: 2}, params)

where formDataSourceName is the entity name parameter sent through canvas and params the combination of columns and their associated value to populate in the form when needed.

PCF opens up a lot of new possibilities.. but is quite painful to integrate/update.
