Flow to post adaptive card or message in Teams > List > Conversation when an item updated

Hello,

I have a Microsoft list that we are using for an issue tracker that is located in a specific Teams channel. We use the conversation tab on each list item when we want to have dialogue for that item within the Teams channel. That way the conversation stays with the item and is also available in Teams.

I would like to create a flow that will post either an adaptive card or message to the conversation for a specific item when the item is updated. Is there a way to target the conversation section of a Microsoft (sharepoint) List within teams via Power Automate?

Thanks,

Garry

    Hi @garrywilmeth,

It's unfortunate that Microsoft Teams connector not supported post a message to a conversation or group, so your requirement couldn't be achieved. If you like this feature, please go to IDEA forum, votes for this idea to make it come true in the future:

@garrywilmeth I think I've figured out how to do this. You'd probably have to adapt it to your specific use-case, but I've written up how you can associate an existing teams message thread with the conversation for a list item.
