Flow to delete items with 'closed' status AND older than 12 months

Hi all,

Looking for some assistance with a flow to action the following:

Delete a SharePoint list item that (1) has a status column value as 'Closed' and (2) has not been modified in 12 months.

For background, when a case is closed it is marked as 'closed' under a column titled 'Status'.

I have another column containing the last modified date, 'Modified'.

I also have a column (which I may not need?) called 'Destroy Date' that is the last modified date + 12 months (the date it needs to be deleted). Either way, it's there and available if required.

I'd like to delete items that have not been modified (or have been 'closed') for 12 months.

Seen loads of variations of deleting items, but struggling to find help when I have two criteria that need to be met before the item should be deleted (a date and a status).

Any help appreciated!

Daniella

    Hello @Daniellaa

What exactly is your problem? The delete step is always the same. Do you need help with the filter?

1.) Add "Get items" (use both filter criteria)

2.) Add "Delete item" (apply to each will be added automatically if you select the id from the previous step)

You may check if the filtered items are correct before you add step 2 😉

    Hi,

So there is no "problem", it's just that I need guidance from start to finish on this one. I don't know how to do the correct filtering for both of these criteria.

    Thanks

Since I don’t know the correct column names and types it will be difficult to give you a complete solution.

You will have to do it by yourself with the help from my first response or you will have to share example JSON of the output of get items or you provide the Schema (you can use “parse json” and create from sample to get a Schema).
