text file corrupts after flow

Hi,

I set up power automate to flow a text file attached on my email and have it saved in the SharePoint folder.

After the text file is saved, the file gets corrupted.

Strangely, I created 1 flow about a month ago and this works fine, and I copied this flow a few days ago for other text files from other senders, and this ends up with the corrupted file after the flow.

Please help me on this???

    Hi Gu,

    Thank you for your response.

Not sure if this answers to your question but the flow process is below:

On new email with attachment=>Apply to each with attachments=>Create file in sharepoint=>Get file content with attachments contents.

I have attached the screenshot of corrupted file.

    Best,

There is no error reason appear because the flow is successful.

Your screnshot is a bit blurry, but I'm pretty sure the file content is an image (PNG) 😉

    Thanks Chriddle.

Is there any way to keep the original content as text file?

    Hi @Needurhelp ,

Based on your description, I did a test and found no errors.

Saving this original file content as a text file does not make sense.

However, you can use text recognition to retrieve the text from the image (if any) and save this as a text file.

See connector Recognize text in an image or a PDF document.

Use the text recognition prebuilt model in Power Automate - AI Builder | Microsoft Learn
