What does this mean? "The app cannot be added to the specified solution because it is already solution aware."?

Hello,

I am trying to add a canvas app to my solution but am getting this error: "The app cannot be added to the specified solution because it is already solution aware. Please manage this application's solutions through the solution management experience."

Does anybody know what this means or how to fix it? I don't even know what solution aware means. Does this mean it's already in a solution? Because when I try to add a canvas in an existing solution, there's nothing.

Hi @Mgodby ,

Flows and Canvas apps are solution aware so if these are added to your solution.

So this app has already be added to this solution.

You could check the apps that have already added in this solution by viewing the solution's details.

These apps have already be added in your solution.

Please notice there are some limitations about adding apps to solution.

I have the same issue. I have not added the app to any solution. Please let me know how to see the app and add it to the solution.

Hi to all struggling with this issue.
I had the same error. It Canvas App became visible in the Solution once I had Pulished the App!!! So it was there, it was 'Solution aware' but not visible... Thank you so much Microsoft, error handling is seldom self-explaining.
