Is the user currently on his PC or Mobile? How can we figure that out?

Hello,

As the topic says:

I have built an attendance bot using Power virtual agent & Power automate, the bot runs perfectly, however I am having an issue that people are able to check in with their mobile which defeat the whole purpose!

So I need to figure out if they are using their mobile to check in within the bot or their laptop/pc.

I have couple of things in mind:

Check their IP (Unable to figure out how this work)(also Not optimal since they might be working from home!)

Upload file to cloud then delete it(Not optimal because if they figure out that this is how it work it will be abused)

Can someone help please with this issue, perhaps a way to do it or an idea I can implement that will make this work.

Thank you

    Hi @NoneWasHere ,

Flow cannot obtain whether the user is using a computer or a mobile phone.

You could use file system connector to get your user's company computer file.

The user manually adds a file to his computer every day.

    Best Regards,

    Wearsky

How would I figure out the password of that computer and the username?

Also, that would require each user in the company to download the gateway....
