Send automatic email via power bi integrated power app

Hi,

I have a BI page that has a powerapp integrated into it. This app brings in large amounts of data from a db and a user can mark/check a large sum of items off. On hitting submit - the app will create those items in a sharepoint list to be investigated. It would be very beneficial for an automatic email to be sent to the person who submitted those items with a list of what they've just sent across so they can see visually if they might have missed an item they wanted to add.

is it possible to create a flow that handles this? and if there is, how would I go about it?

Yes, its possible to do this.  Create a collection of the records to be added and pass that with the identity of the submitter to the flow.  The flow can then create the records in SharePoint and then convert the array into an HTML table and send it by email to the submitter.

Hi thanks for the reply. The powerapp that is embedded into the BI page already sends through the creation of the items via the patch function. Adding a flow like that might cause a double up to occur, do you have any visual examples on how I could achieve this? Thank you

You can do what I suggested and just not include the create item in the flow.  That way the Power App will create the items, but the flow will send the email.
