Embed canvas app into model-driven apps?

I'm trying to follow along with this article: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/model-driven-apps/embedded-canvas-app-add-classic-designer

 

I'm wanting to embed a canvas app into a model-driven app. When I get to the part where you add a Canvas App control to the form, I don't have Canvas App as an option.

Has the method for embedding canvas apps changed?

    I figured it out. I had tested with a couple different fields, but then I realized all the fields I tested with were lookups to other entities. It works fine with a regular text field. Whoops!
