Send email as another user

Hey all, new to Power Automate. I am building a flow that after couple of approval flows it sends an email to Service Desk. I am using a service account that sends this email on behalf of the user. Issue is at the moment I have to ask the Exchange admin to add the service account to new users mailbox delegation settings or else the flow fails. If a new user fires off the flow without doing this it fails and I have to resubmit the flow and go through all the approval steps again.

Is there a different way to do this? Can we automate adding service account to mailbox settings? Please let me know what you think can be done in this scenario. Thanks in advance

    No way.

There is no "send as any user" permission, just that permission on each object.

Let's forget about flow for a while. Can you create a user account that will be able to send as any user without granting appropriate rights?

Hey Victor, thanks for the reply.

Thats a good idea, so create a user account which has limited rights but has the permission to send email on behalf of the user. I assume there is no automated way of doing this?

    Thanks again mate.

Sorry I don't catch your point. You are asking for "automated way" to do what?

Thats alright, org decided to go another way with this.

Was asking if there was a script to give 'Send as' permission to a service account for all employees and to keep it updated.
