Hello,We have a quick question regarding uploading images to a Power App. We are building an app (canvas driven app) and it has a similar build to a survey . The app should work on all possible platforms. There are a few questions and to every question, there is the possibility to add 1 or more pictures. We now use the attachment function of a form to add the pictures. Now the question is; If we add pictures to the app the input itself can slow down significantly. Is there any way that we can make this process more efficiënt? Or are there any other alternatives to add pictures to a survey kind of app? Thanks in advance!
Hi @BIconsultant ,
What exactly do you mean by add pictures to the app - are you referring to uploading as Media ? If so, too great a quantity/size can have a performance impact. Attachments do not impact performance as they are actually stored in SharePoint and you can also store in a SharePoint Library or a SharePoint List Image column (although you need one of these per picture on each record).

What is slow exactly? Is it only the submitting of the form or also other things?
An alternative may be to use MS Forms: Microsoft Forms | Surveys, Polls, and Quizzes
Hi WarrenBelz,Yes, with the "add pictures" we are referring to uploading it as media and storing them in sharepoint. The goal is to get the pictures in a report generated via PDF with all the other answers from the questions. We will go ahead with the attachments. Thanks for your help!
Hi @BCBuizer,
There are 2 possible ways we think about it slowing down the app.1) Slow as in the time it takes to fill in the survey.
2) Slow as the time it will take to upload the images. We will keep MS Forms in mind if this app does not meet our required TAT's. Thank you for the help!
