Add contents of pdf to page in section of onenote notebook

Hi,

I made a flow where document is uploaded to onedrive > creates section in notebook > creates page in notebook > adds content to page. However, the content is random characters and numbers. I would like it to be the content of the pdf (like when inserting a pdf file manually to onenote, you can click "pdf printout). Have researched similar questions but they don't have solutions.

No error codes as the flow is "successful", the content just isn't correct.

    Hey @Anonymous

If I've understood correctly you need to read the contents of a PDF and add this data to OneNote... you have the OneNote aspect covered but need to obtain the PDF content?

I don't think you can do this with standard PA capabilities.

The Encodian connector (and Plumsail) will allow you obtain the text content of a PDF, see: https://support.encodian.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360015539373-Get-PDF-Text-Layer

The Encodian connector will also allow you to extract images from a PDF document based on regions, or even an entire PDF page as an image: https://support.encodian.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360006998058-Extract-Images-from-PDF

The Encodian connector is available under a free sku (50 actions per month) or paid thereafter.

    HTH
