Removing timings on Events in Sharepoint Calendar

Hello Everyone,

Is there any way to remove the timings which come along with event name while using Microsoft Flow?

For example: for the following event:

                                                                        Timings.PNG

Is there a workaround to remove the timings and just keep event name?

Thanks in advance.

    Hi @Aish

Can you share screenshot of how are you fetching the event name in MS Flow and the value it displays

    Hi @RezaDorrani ,

So, I am initially picking events using Get Items function for SharePoint to avoid duplicates. So this is how im picking the title:

Please do let me know if any other information is required. Thanks.

    Hi @Aish

Assuming list name is "Events" I tried with Title eq 'hello' and it got the selected event

The Title did not have any date associated with it for me to ignore

please explain your issue in detail

    Hi @RezaDorrani ,

The issue occurs when a new event is inserted into SP Calendar, not when events are retrieved.

    Hi @Aish

then share screenshot of that step both in edit mode and when flow runs

also share screenshot of the event created in sharepoint

    Hi @ RezaDorrani ,

Here is the screenshot of insertion of the event in SP Calendar in edit mode:

    Create Event.PNG

Here is the screenshot of insertion of the event in SP Calendar in flow mode:

    Create item 1.PNG

         Outputs.PNG

The Output in the SharePoint Calendar for this event is:

     SP Output.PNG

Please do let me know if any other information is required.

    Thanks,

    Aishwarya

    Hi @Aish ,

Do you want the sharepoint calendar to only display the event title and don't want the sharepoint calendar to display the event time?

I have made a test, the calendar display or event wouldn't be controled by flow, and there is no any way to achieve your needs with microsoft flow.

    Best regards,

    Alice

Thanks for the information @v-alzhan-msft .

Is there any alternative that you are aware of to remove those timings?

    Hi @Aish ,

Sorry for there is no any way to remove those timings with microsoft flow and maybe you could considering asking the question in the Sharepint forum for a solution.

    Best regards,
