Timer control - Quiz

Hello Power Apps Community,

 

I'm new to Power Apps and I'm certain there is a more elegant way to do this.

  • create a quiz with 2 questions.
  • each question will have a txt box to answer
  • next to each txt box is a button to show the answer
  • when I select the next question button - Q1 will hide and Q2 will fade in on the screen.

I have managed to use timer control to fade in everything for Question 1. 

my timer is named - Timer1_1

for each part of question one I set the Visible function to Timer1_1.Value>1500

 

I am not stuck on how to get Q1 to hide and Q2 to work on a second timer control. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,

    I would suggest you to:

    • set a variable on 'OnVisible' of this screen with number 1 (number of the question to be displayed),
    • set the timer with the time to answer a question,
    • when the time is up it will increse the variable by 1 (next question),
    • when the user click on next question increse the variable by 1 and reset the timer
    • and finally set the visible for each question with the respective number, for ex.
      • question 1 visible: <variable> = 1
      • question 2 visible: <variable> = 2
