Flow triggered emails land in Drafts then move to Inbox

Anyone had this issue or know why it happens? While testing my Flow, I noticed that my email with options (approve, reject) sometimes shows up in the Drafts folder of Outlook, sits there about a minute and then moves to the Inbox. It doesn't seem to be doing anything but slow down the process, but I'm curious just the same.

    Hi @Aimthedame

    Thank you for posting.

According to your description, you would see email first appear in draft folder and then go to inbox while testing ‘send email with option’ action. If I misunderstood, please kindly let me know.

I tried to reproduce your issue but it works fine for me. Actually, you no need to worry as it’s a normal behavior in mailbox part and won’t affect flow processing. As you mentioned, the email appears in draft. It means flow successfully submit this message. But the email server hasn’t sent it out completely. So it has nothing to do with flow. This will happen in several scenarios as below:

1.Your network is not such stable.

2.Your email server has temporary connection issue and gets recovered at once.

3.Your email message is large enough to stuck in draft folder as server is still reading it.

All possibilities are related to mailbox principle. If you still worry about the delay, I recommend you go to mailbox forum and double confirm.

Hope the content above may help you.

    Thanks

I've just found out that there have been other irregularities with email, so it is definitely a server issue. Thanks for the reply!
