I am trying to learn about Power Automate, by building the most simple workfolw ever. However, that is not easy it all.

I just want a super simpel message to get postet i MS teams. First I was try to message myself (that seems to be impossible), and now I just try to message a team memeber that is not working in the office anymore.

It seems that using PA online is easy to do, and I am also using MS teams online to.

I have 3 questions:
1) How do I find the team ID?
2) How do I find the channel ID?
3) Is "new designer" better?
All guides seems to be on former designer.

Thanks in advance

Team and Channel has a drop-down menu with teams/channels available with your connection.
Channel is linked to team, so you need to choose first Team.

TeamId and ChannelId you will need only if you want to use this dynamically.

    TY for reply, mrcwojcik.

It seems we have no teams or channels, but only chats.

I just want to post in "Helle Brahe Hager" chat, and to always use that one. Its not about dynamic chats or anything like that.

    How do I do that?

Just like with posting to a channel, when you choose to post in a chat, you will choose the chat from the drop-down menu:

After you choose group chat, it may take several seconds for the group chat drop-down to populate. If you have none listed, you can either start a chat in Teams before creating the workflow, or you can use the create a chat action. In that case, you would use a custom value and choose the conversation ID from the create a chat action.
