Microsoft Flow and Planner assigning labels or appliedCategories

I have done some searching on the forums and google and can't seem to find how to accomplish my goal. I have a flow that when a task is created in outlook it will create a task in planner this works great, my goal is that I would like the created task to have a label applied to it. From my google searches it looks like this can be done in Microsoft Graph with appliedCategories json object (still super new to this so this might not be the correct term) but I have no idea how to get that attached in flow, the update task does not have a label or appliedCategory field. Is there a way to insert this into the JSON or another way to get my desired outcome? Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Hi @Chris_IT

Curently adding Labels and modfying them is not supported as direct actions in flow. Yo umight want to refer this thread:

    https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/General-Flow-Discussion/Update-Text-property-of-Label-in-Planner-Task/td-p/63162

Here is the idea that has been raised:

    https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Flow-Ideas/Add-Categories-Labels-Tags-to-Planner-Task/idi-p/85439

Note: The send an HTTP request to planner is also not a direct action available right now.

You might want to try the Send HTTP request action (Premium) for this and authenticate to Planner and use the REST API as here:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/api/plannertask-update?view=graph-rest-1.0&tabs=http

    Hope this Helps!
