We're in a government tenant and had been using the PowerApps free trial. When the announcement came down that the free trial was ending and that PowerApps would not yet be available to governement users, my office purchased a regular PowerApps Plan I subscription so we could continue to use the app we built.
I had a saved backup of the app (.msapp file), but I can't get it to open in our PowerApps subscription. It has a SharePoint connection to another tenant, which I am able to recreate successfully, however, when trying to open the .msapp file, PowerApps hangs after asking me if I want to allow that connection. Doesn't matter whether I click Allow or Cancel, the client just freezes and has to be restarted.
I'm able to create a new app with a gallery and pull in list data from the SharePoint connection in question, so there doesn't appear to be an issue with connecting across tenants. Just can't get this backup file to load.
All help is welcomed. We have a lot of time put into the app already. Quite depressing to think we may have to start from scratch.
