Approval rejection loop

Hi all,

 

I've created a mulitple approval workflow from a sharepoint list. Once I reach the condition where 'outcome is equal to approve' and the first approver rejects the request, it keeps sending the same request to the approver constantly in a loop. Has anyone expereinced this and have a way out to stop the loop? Attahced is my workflow, thanking you in advance

    You do not show your entire flow or how you have the actions configured, but my guess is that you are using the trigger When an item is created or modified. Since you show in your second image that you are updating them item, my guess is that when that happens it is kicking off another instance of the workflow causing an infinite loop.

    Hi there, i should have clarified, the flow worked fine with the multi level approvals and now particularly if i duplicate the sharepoint list and rename it to something else, however the next day it goes back to looping.
