New Bookings Connector + Google Calendar

*edit Feb 2023 - figured it out (answer on Bookings forum)

Trying the 3 new Bookings Connector

1) When an event is added

2) When an event is Updated

Add Event:

No issues adding event to a Google Calendar. Works superbly and very fast actually! I added the Booking ID to the Google Calendar description, so it can search for it on update.

Update Event:

While testing, I discovered that the Booking ID on the same event update, is a few letters different from the add event! So it never finds the Google event (based on it searching for Booking ID in description).

Tested by looking at the Booking ID input result of both add/update events.

Suggestions or work around to connect the new Bookings connector to Google Cal?

    I'm having this same issue, but cannot find your answer (which Bookings forum?). Can you provide a link?

    @laceystripe

    I use the SelfService ID instead. Support says this ID will also start populating on manually created appointments in the near future. (currently 00000's). My reply is posted as Pacificriding. (work acct)

    Lengthy thread posted below, but my solution is there.
