@Nayana_MS You have the wrong dynamic content inserted here. You need to insert the File Content dynamic content from a Get File Content action.

    Use whichever action you prefer.

Insert this into the Attachment field instead.

If you want to learn how to Send SP list attachments in an Email—check out this YT Tutorial: How to Send SharePoint List Attachments 📎 via Email with Power Automate

In this Microsoft Power Automate tutorial, I’ll cover how to create a Power Automate flow to send SharePoint list attachments in an email.

This flow will check the SharePoint list to see if an item is marked as Ready to Send and has attachments. I will also cover how to combine multiple attachments to send in a single email.

✅ How to attach a single SharePoint list attachment to an email

✅ How to use the Filter Query to Filter SharePoint List Items by a Single Choice Column

✅ How to use the Filter Array action to Filter SharePoint List Items that have an Attachment

✅ How to use turn on Pagination and Set a Threshold in the Get Items action

✅ How to us the Top Count field in the Get Items action

✅ How to use the Get Attachments Action

✅ How to avoid the Apply to Each Action

✅ How to use the Get File Content Action

✅ How to Edit an Expression

✅ How to use the Compose Action

✅ How to Get Multiple SharePoint Attachments

✅ How to use the Append to Array Variable Action

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks for the reply

1.I'm using get files(properties only)activity  because i need to iterate through the files present inside the document library

and I'm not using SharePoint list ,I'm storing files in SharePoint document library

if I use the get file content activity I cant iterate through the files

    Thank you

@Nayana_MS Apologies for the miscommunication in my prev post. What I meant to say was that your flow is missing the Get File Content action. The Get files (properties only) action will only return the properties of your files—not the content. Your flow needs the Get File Content action to get the file content.

The Get Files (properties only) returns folders as well. You need to use a Filter Query to return Files only. Refer to this YT Short. Ensure you are selecting a folder (when possible) to limit entries to a specific folder and using a filter query to reduce the amount of files returned.

If you are running a condition check inside your apply to each action—you'll want to consider using a filter query or filter array action depending on your criteria. This way you aren't looping through every file returned to run a check. It's much more efficient to only loop through the files you need to send an email for.

Tip: When possible—pls upload a full screenshot of your flow to provide insights to your flow logic.

    Hope this helps!
