Hi,

i tried to create a Newspage in my App using the News API but the Custom Connector i build doesn't work.

First of all, the configuration of the Connector:

GeneralGeneralSecuritySecurityRequestRequestDefault AnswerDefault Answer

After testing the Connector i got following Errormessage:

Header

    {
        "content-length": "264",
        "content-type": "application/json"
    }

Text

    {
        "error": {
            "code": 500,
            "message": "Expression value is invalid. The template field is required.",
            "source": "europe-001.azure-apim.net",
            "path": "choose[2]\\when[1]",
            "clientRequestId": "b2b54481-016a-4c10-a26c-c477-506f7769"
        }
    }

I hope, someone can help me.

King regards,

Julian Postertz

    Hi Julian,

    we've stumbled upon the same problem and were able to resolve it using the following:

    - to start with, our ReST-API was https://www.geoportal.ch/search/flaechenblatt/?bfs=3001&liegnr=2176&typ=L
    Check that you can query it from the browser and get a JSON-Result back

    - In the first section (1.General), do not add search/flaechenblatt/ as part of the host URL:

    generalgeneral

    In part 3.Definition, import from an example, this time indicating (the GET-method and) the full url

    After importing the Example, edit the keyword arguments by clicking on the three dots on (dark pink/purple?) background::

    definition.png

    make sure the fields all have type "string":

    definition2.png

    After this, the Test succeeds:

    Hope this helps!
