Trigger email when status change in excel sheet

hi,

when the status is changed in excel from a dropdown list, email should be triggered to the email id mention in that excel sheet. Also email body text should be picked from the excel sheet  columns or from Word document as per the status selected.

The excel is stored in teams/Sharepoint

    Hello @AK1504 ,

unfortunately there isn’t any trigger in regards of an excel row changes.

Please access the following site and vote for already existing ideas:

Anyhow, you should consider to use a SharePoint list instead, it’s much more flexible and allows you to trigger an item change.

hi Marco - The link which you have given is not working.

Just to elaborate more on the email trigger what i need is if someone changes the status in a column, like if someone select option from the drop down list like "L2 select", a email should be trigged with whatever data  is in compose data column and same with L1 select, Screen select, Screen reject etc.
