Flow not recognizing attached e-mails as attachments?

Hello,

I'm trying to build a flow for saving emails and attachments onto the OneDrive. It works like a charm with one exception - if an e-mail is attached, it doesn't see it at all. If my boss sends me an e-mail with another e-mail attached and e.g. a Word document, the Word document is saved, but the attached e-mail is nowhere to be found.

Any suggestions? Or is it a bug?

    Hi @Anonymous,

Could you please share a screenshot of your flow's configuration?

How do you save the emails and attachments into your OneDrive?

I have made a test and the issue is confirmed on my side. I afraid that saving attached e-mails as attachments to OneDrive folder is not supported in Microsoft Flow currently.

If you would like this feature to be added in Microsoft Flow, please submit an idea to Flow Ideas Forum:

    Best regards,

    Kris

Save email flowSave email flowI am also using variants of this for each relevant project inbox.

It would be also great to know if there is a way to trigger this on ANY e-mail. Right now it seems I can trigger it only on e-mails coming to a specified inbox. It would help a lot if I could say:

     - Trigger on any e-mail

     - Save to folder  /Attachments/[Outlook Folder Name]/[From]
