when click download button on the website, a window will pump up to set the file name and save location,

Does any one know how to set a file name using  the name of ' current item' in a For each loop to save a renamed file?

    Hi @Anonymous

did you meant you want to extract the file name from dialog box and use that in file path right ?

What is %CurrentItem%?  Is it a path, or a folder?

Just remember, you can navigate to folders vua that SendKeys item. So, whatever folder you want to save it in put in %Folder%{Enter} and then do another send keys for %Name%,ext{Enter} and that should do it.

Sorry for confusion, I have two problems here. First, My currentitem is an ID(loop for an ID list),but i want use the ID's name for file name when download.

For example, using name of ABC company.csv instead of 100254785.csv.

I have a list containing ID column and their actual supplier name in another column, but I do not know how to match ID(my currentitem in the loop)to supperlier name and then use supplier name as my download file name.

My second problem is I do not know how to change name when download file from web site...

Hi, could you open up the "Populate text field in window" action and send a screenshot please?

So, there is no "lookup" command native to PAD.  What I recommend is putting your datatable (col A = ID, col B = Name) in Excel.

    Input Cell = D1

    Formula in E1:  =VLOOKUP(D1,$A:$B,2,FALSE)

    Bot does this:

    Attach to Excel

    Write %CurrentItem% to D1
Read as Text from E1 to %BusinessName%
Rename File [old filepath and old filename] to [new filename with %BusinessName% wherever it needs to be.

    Good luck!
