sharepoint reminder did not send an email

I set up a 60 day reminder on my sharepoint list (based on a date) and I did not get an email reminder as expected. I followed the few easy steps to set up the reminder. Its an out of the box solution so i'm not sure how to filx the flow. Heres a screenshot to show where the problem occured.

OMG! thats pretty intense. I will have to wrap my head around that solution. It seems doable but I am a beginner and was hoping I could just the simple alert that is meant to work as an easy reminder. Thanks for the info I will give it a go and let you know if it works.
