Azure blob storage - get metadata for a blob does not get the custom metadata that is set by the user. It would be nice if the custom metadata was retrievable in flow so that it could be used to automate processes in Dynamics 365. Azure Blob Storage extension for Dynamics 365 creates custom metadata when it sends a file to blob store. I want to retreive and use this data when a new file is added to the blob store.

It seems that currently the custom metadata of Azure Blog Storage is not available, I haven’t seen a similar request on it, please consider submitting a new request on Flow Ideas Forum:

This feature is now available... you can also use Blob storage instead...

Sorry this is a really old post. I just went into Power Automate and tested creating a file in Blob Storage using the connector. Then I did a compose action and was able to select blob metadata as a dynamic value. I am not sure if this includes returning custom metadata though. You would have to test it. Hello! I'm attempting to retrieve the custom metadata through power automate or through PowerApps using the GetFileMetadataV2 action... however it does not seem to return the custom metadata field I have added.

I tried adding a tag as well and attempting to retrieve the tag is not possible either.

Any ideas?
