Filter on Choice column not showing any results

Hello,

I have a choice column in my custom SharePoint PowerApps form that points to a lookup column(MachineLU) in a SharePoint list. I'm trying to filter that column with a variable(AreaVAR) in the PowerApp versus another column in the SharePoint list(area).

I know it should produce exactly 2 results, however it is not displaying any results.

I don't understand why this wouldn't be working, Any advice would be greatly appretiated.

Thanks in advance

    Hi

Please share a photo of the two lists with the lookup defined

Please share the code you are trying to use

Please share what it does show you versus what you expect, with an example where filtering based on X should produce 2 so we can tell you why its not.

It looks like you might have posted a picture, but its not visible. But please share all of this information.

    Thanks!

    Hello @FLMike

Thanks you for your response your email,

The look column is configured as in the image below

The List is the lookup is pointing to is called called Machines, gathering the values from the column I have called MachineCodeDesc, the variable is called AreaVAR which I compare to the column Area, also in the Machines list

    The dropdown combo box Item property in the custom Power App SharePoint form control is;

    Filter(Machines,MachineCodeDesc, AreaVAR=area)

When testing the combobox has no values image below,

but I am expecting to have 2 displayed in the drop down.

I hope this is better described
