Sharing File UI Element Issue

Posted on by

I have a fairly large flow that I am trying to share to someone else on PAD. The flow adds in the previous month to a power BI file and makes several rule/name changes. I am running into issues on the other person's laptop when the flow is ran. On my computer, the flow works perfectly fine, however, he gets an error near the very beginning when the hover over UI element does not go to the search bar to find the previous month from a pivot table.  I am aware of screeners and selectors, but have never had to share a flow to someone else. I would also like to mention that I don't have premium, so I selected all my flow and copy/paste it over to him for him to put on his PAD. If anyone has any solutions, please let me know.

    Hey @pautomateuser5

You can copy the Flow and Paste in a .txt file and you can share.

As @Sayan mentioned You can copy the entire code using the shortcut (Ctrl+A) (don’t select actions manually) and paste it (Ctrl+V) into Notepad. Ensure it appears as a lengthy document. First, try creating a new flow by copying and pasting your code from notepad into PAD and see if it works well for you. Then, save that notepad file and share it with your colleagues and ask them to follow the same process: copying and pasting it into their PAD tool.

In case again it’s not working please throw light some errors details to us
