Display Dataverse related column in an html table

Hi,

I have a flow that now included a related column in the accounts table called business unit.

Thanks to this vid I have all fields in the html table except for this one by looking at the raw outputs of the list rows then using the expression item()[''] and inserting the columns name in between quotes.

This column is a little bit different in that it seems it is an additional level. In addition the field name does not come up in the Dynamic Content that comes close to the column name.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

    Hi Todd,

    Pls use the below expression to get the required value from the object:

    item()?['crbb0_Account']?['crbb0_businessunit']

    If this helps & solves your problem, please remember to give a 👍 and accept my solution as it will help others in the future.

    After doing some research and spending a few hours debugging, testing and failing, I found a way of doing it.

    First, I created a HTML table with the "Automatic" option selected for columns, that would ensure that all columns would be present in my table (even the ones for the related tables, even though the won't apper in the "dropdown" field selection.
    After that, I ran my flow and checked the output:

    Then I found out the "logical name" for the related field I was looking for, and decide to give it a go, using the same standart expression used to regular fields: @item()?['FieldName'], but replacing the Field Name with the weird name shown in the picture above.

    @item()?['a_66d6f58-daa9-4d78-ac66-4b49a257030d.msevtmgt_eventid@OData.Community.Display.V1.FormattedValue']

    Make sure to include the '@' at the begining.

    Voilà:

    Hope it helps,
    Cheers,
    Pedro
