Using Automate to customise questionnaire/form

Hi there,

I have created a supplier questionnaire in Forms that contains 8 sections; however, based on the individual supplier criteria (location, cost, supplier type), they may not need to receive and subsequently answer all 8 sections of the form.

Is it possible to use Power Automate to create a kind of 'front page' for internal use only, where we answer the set criteria of the supplier, which then customises the Form and only sends the supplier the necessary sections?

Thanks in advance for any help or advice.

What you want to do is currently not possible with Microsoft Forms. There are limited actions for MS Forms: Microsoft Forms - Connectors | Microsoft Learn. You can basically trigger a flow when a response is received and then get the responses.

    Hello,

You would need to have a different form for each of the different scenarios those individual supplier criteria creates.

You could create a Power App for internal use where your internal users select the criteria and enter the contact information for those suppliers. When they submit it sends the specific link to the specific form that applies to the items they selected. You could use Power Automate to decide which form to send or develop that into the Power App, both could provide that functionality.

Do you know about branching in Microsoft forms? Since you said the sections are based on criteria, you may be able to accomplish it with branching logic. You can read about branching at Use branching logic in Microsoft Forms - Microsoft Support.

Not sure how to reply individually to the responses to my question but thank you to everyone who has taken the time to respond.

@David_MA I am aware of branching in Forms and the questionnaire already contains this; however, unfortunately it's not really a solution here, as we don't want the supplier to have the ability to customise their own questionnaire, it should be customised internally first and the supplier see the final version.

I will try the suggestion from @RobotRising, no issue creating multiple questionnaires, just need to figure out a way to use Power App internally to decide which questionnaire to use but it sounds like it could be a potential solution.

Thanks again for your suggestions, much appreciated.
