Email each form response as a Excel or PDF file based on a template

Hi,

I'm not a die-hard Power Automate user (yet), so I hope you can help me out.

I've created a form which collects quite a lot of information, and I want to use Power Automate to send each response as a Excel file or PDF, but I don't want an Excel where all questions are positioned in columns, but a document which is easy to read.

I did try some PDF related actions, but when selecting those, it asks for info which I wouldn't even know where to get

Can someone tell me if this is possible with Power Automate and if so, which actions I should use for this?

Thanks!

    Hi there,

You'd likely want to populate a Word document from the responses, and then PDF that.

Thanks, will look into that in a bit.

Maybe PDF isn't such a good idea anyway, as the form is only filling out 80% of de Word template, the receiver of the Word document needs to fill out the rest and send me back the file.

When adding the "Populate a Microsoft Word template" and adding the file, I get the error below. But I'm sure I added template elements to the file so I don't understand why I'm getting this error.

    Any suggestions?
