Custom CSS Keeps disappearing

Hi all, 
 
I keep having this issue where my custom CSS is disappearing from my website when I close both Power Pages and Visual Studio. This is very problematic and I would like this to stop happening. 
 
Please let me know how I can stop this from happening.
