Hi All,

I have created a flow, and have issues with it failing each week and I have to change the Scheduled Start time Date Time in the Set up automatic replies (V2) to the date of the current week it is not changing to be the next week .

Thanks in advance for your help.  Here are the screen shots of what I have created.  I have tried to use Co-piolot to get the right start date time format but no luck.

It fails with this response:

The reason why its failing is because you are trying to set the automatic replies from 16th of Jan to 19th of Jan and that period has already passed.

You can't put automatic replies in the past.

You should use dynamic values to calculate the date in the future instead.

Here is a flow that I used to trigger automatic replies every Friday to Sunday.

@narayan225 Thanks for your suggestion, how do I get it to start at 3pm on a Thursday and finish at 5am on a Monday? Also do you have the flow running all the time.  I want to set and forget if possible.

    Cheers

For the automatic replies to start at 3PM, you can simply add hours to the formula that we have for start date.
For now, it starts my automatic replies at 10 AM.
And for it to set it to 3 PM, I simply add 5 hours on the formula to the start. To set it to 5PM, I add 7 hours to the end.
    Start: addHours( addDays(body('Convert_time_zone'),4),5)
    End: addHours(addDays(body('Convert_time_zone'),6),7)
Here is the revised outlook action.

    Hope this helps.
    Cheers!

This may be a stupid question, but am new to PowerAutomate.

Do I need to manually run this the first time so that it has correct start and finish time, or is there a way to run it now and for it to have the correct times and dates, as it turns it on for wrong Date and time now if I do the later.

Your calculation should be based on the day that you have scheduled the flow to trigger.

If the start date of the automatic replies is Monday and it has already passed, you will need to update your calculations for the first run to suit today. And then update the flow again to suit the trigger day and time.
If the trigger day has not passed, you can leave it as it is and then it should work without manual intervention.

On your trigger, you should be able to configure the day and time of the week that your flow triggers and runs. I suggest you configure your flow based on that.

In my case, I trigger the flow to run on 9 AM on Monday, so my calculation will be to add 4 days and 8 hours as I would like the replies to start on Friday at 5 PM.
And I would add 6 days and 12 hours as I would like the replies to end on Sunday at 11 PM.

    Hope this helps.
    Cheers!
