Programmatically Associate Approval Worflow on a modern Library

Hi Team,

I would like to create a custom Approval Workflow base on this one "Request manager approval for a selected file"

https://emea.flow.microsoft.com/en-us/galleries/public/templates/1ad903d39acf4fa28ed02e111d5e0421/request-manager-approval-for-a-selected-file/

And propose this workflow as a template for end Users .

Is this possible ?

Could we also automate the Worflow association for new Document Libraries with custom code (powershell or C#) ?

Thanks for your help

Philippe

Hello @phentrin I would like to know if you can provide me more details in order to help you.

are you trying to use that template and add the approval action?

    Hi @Yeiner ,

On the modern document library, the OOB Approval workflow doesn't meet customer need.

What my customer wants is to let the Owners choose the "Appovers" at site collection level.

And all the requested document library approval should be approved by the designated approvers.

So, we explore an custom solution to automatically associate and configure a PowerAutomate on the Default Document library because it could be tricky for end users.

I don't know if we can create a Power Automate template and associate this template by custom code (Azure Function) at site creation.

    Thanks

    Philippe.
