Searching and Reassigning Power Automate Flows from the Admin Center

My current process for reassigning the owner of a Power Automate flow is this:
  1. Go to the environment --> resources --> flows
  2. Search for the flow
  3. Add a new co-owner
Issues I'm facing:
  1. The search feature is no better than ctrl-F: if you haven't clicked "Load More" enough times, your flow won't come up even if it's in the environment.
  2. I don't see any way to remove old owners.
  3. Even if the search feature worked, it feels like there should be a better way to add new co-owners.
Any help or workarounds would be appreciated!

The experience you're seeing is a common limitation of the Power Platform Admin Center. The Resources > Flows page is intended for administration, but it's not ideal for managing ownership at scale.

Your current approach works for occasional ownership changes, but it isn't the most efficient or scalable method. The Power Platform Admin Center has some known limitations around flow discovery and ownership management.
    • Use the Power Automate portal to manage flow owners and co-owners whenever possible, as it provides the best user experience.
    • Use the Power Platform Admin Center primarily for administrative recovery scenarios, such as gaining access to orphaned flows.
    • The Flows page search in the Admin Center has limitations and may not find flows that haven't been loaded into the page.
    • For large-scale ownership management, use Power Platform PowerShell, the Power Platform for Admins connector, or PAC CLI to automate listing and updating flow owners.
    • Follow governance best practices by using solution-aware flows, assigning service accounts or shared owners for critical flows, adding multiple co-owners, and periodically auditing ownership to prevent orphaned flows.
