What is this purple copilot thing and how can I get rid of it???

I've turned off copilot in settings in my app, exited, got back in and I still see those copilot purple things over fields I focus on. Please see attached graphic.

First, what is that THING called? That purple THING???

Secondly, when I do choose to use copilot, if those purple THINGS appear on any field I give focus to and cover up other things I need to see, what the heck do you do about it? Is there a "Turn annoying purple THINGs off" setting that I've missed ???? OMG I can't code this way, it's awful.

I just want it gone. Forever. I don't need little helper graphics following me around. Put it on a right-click or something this just is incredible.

SpongYe, thanks very much. Esp. for including the link to other discussions here. Since I didn't know what to call it other than a THING, (I tried bar, helper, purple box...) none of which yielded that message, so thanks (it really helps to know the names of things)

Also thanks for the browser extension work-around. Work-around because that's all it is. This could so easily be configured from Power Apps that it baffles the mind as to why it's not. Really, a simple checkbox to display that or not would be so helpful and it pains me that we users have to point that out to the developers who must have contended with that thing as well. I hope Power Apps creates a true fix, a simple checkbox will do.
