Can I make a format by using a string from a value

for example:
value1 = Departure: 01/01/2019 Arrival: 01/01/2019 From: New Jersey To: Los Angeles, Departure: 01/01/2019 Arrival: 01/01/2019 From: New Jersey To: Los Angeles, Departure: 01/01/2019 Arrival: 01/01/2019 From: New Jersey To: Los Angeles,

Result:
something like this replace(value1,',', '*') \\ this formula doesnt work at all.

Departure: 01/01/2019 Arrival: 01/01/2019 From: New Jersey To: Los Angeles

Departure: 01/01/2019 Arrival: 01/01/2019 From: New Jersey To: Los Angeles

Departure: 01/01/2019 Arrival: 01/01/2019 From: New Jersey To: Los Angeles

Above is something I wish to produce to approval mail body.
I already used all markdown syntax but no luck.

Hi @Anonymous

What action are you using to send your approval? If you are using the Send Email with Options action then you can, in the advanced properties, set it to use HTML. You just need to then change your replace expression to

replace(value1,',', '</br>')

Hello @LeeHarris ,

I am using Approval Action which uses a markdown syntax instead of HTML on its body.

Though this is not the answer I am looking for, but for sure your solution would have worked if syntax is HTML.

Thanks to saikumar.

1. Build a new variable(supposedly named "CRLF") using action "Initialiaze Variable"
2. Set the type of this variable as "String"
3. In the value field just place the cursor in it and hit the enter key(Return key).

I know this is an old thread, but I'm having the same problem and this solution isn't working for me. Does anyone know if this method has been disabled and if there's a new way of accomplishing this?
