Microsoft Forms connector (when used via customer voice) not triggering power automate flow

I have an interesting issue where our flows were working flawlessly until 4 days ago and suddenly most flows using the 'When a response is submitted' Microsoft Forms connector have stopped working.

The flow works fine when using a form hosted in Microsoft Forms but our forms are in Dynamics customer voice as we migrated when forms Pro was turned off. There was no issues until a few days ago. I see we can connect via the data verse but can't seem to work out how to do that as it is not as intuitive as the forms connector is.

Some of the the lower used flows are still working which is also strange. We have all the necessary power automate licensing in place. Any help appreciated or is anyone else experiencing this?

    @Keegan1 Keep 2 window open 1. Microsoft form 2. Flow in edit mode. Submit your form and then save your flow immediately. Check whether it is working or not?.

    IF issue is still there create one dummy flow with minimum required action and then check.

    Please 'Thumbs Up' the posts that helped you and 'Accept as Solution' if my post answered your question.

    Hey Hardesh - yup we fully recreated a basic test flow that has the same issues. Fully removed all connections etc too. Same issue unfortunately.

    Hi @Keegan1

    Since you have a Customer Voice scenario, we encourage to use Dataverse connectors and not Forms connector.

    Do you have an example of replicating a 'When a Response is Submitted' workflow in the dataverse? I moved the trigger to the dataverse one and when a new row is added looking at the customer voice survey but it also not triggering. All our forms are anonymous on our website.

    I believe we only signed up for Customer Voice surveys when Forms Pro was turned off so likely don't have the data verse elements. Some warning of this change would have been nice as it was working fine until Monday.

    The forms connector even gives our forms as suggestions to add to the workflows.

    When inspecting the 'Customer Voice Survey Responses', can you see the Forms responses following the submission? Also, does account on the connection used in the trigger has privileges to read from that table?

    I have the same issue.

    Can anyone tell me how I can trigger my Flow when a Customer Voice survey is submitted?

    I tried to use the very popular Microsoft Form connector 'When a response is submitted' but it does not work at all. I know that for some people it works but it seems that actually it is not supported, and you need to use Customer Voice or Datavers connectors.. but how?

    We get no visibility of the customer voice survey responses at all using the dataverse connector and I cannot see any working examples of how to connect it properly to use as a reference.

    We are using the forms connector from when it was Forms Pro before migrating to customer voice. If Microsoft is deprecating the "Forms Pro" parts of voice which it seems they are we will need to migrate away. It seems Dataverse is more setup for known leads rather than anonymous ones.

    Can confirm that Microsoft Technical support confirmed customer voice is no longer supported through the forms power automate connector.

    Instead you need to use the dataverse connector and use a query to filter it to 1. only trigger your flow when the right form is done (all forms go to one table) and 2. use the data to then query in and get the response. Finally you will need to parse the JSON it returns to get your questions and answers.

    Something that was simple is now far more difficult...

    triggerBody()?['msfp_sourceresponseidentifier']

    Hello Keegan1,

    Can you please help with a question? how did you implement the query to apply the filters you mentioned in your previous post?  I have the Customer Survey ID but I do not know how to filter it and get the response..

    I really appreciate if you can attach some screenshots showing how to implement the query and the JSON to get the response of the survey.

    thanks a lot in advance!

    Use this connector trigger (Note you can only add it to NEW flows not existing migrations).

    In advanced options on the connector you can add a filter - this works the same as the SharePoint connector filters so "Field Name eq 'xxxx'". You will need to filter: msfp_sourcesurveyidentifier eq 'the form id found in the url form your form'

    You can then either use Microsoft forms 'get response details' connector which currently still works - you will need to add the below expression to get the response id you need to retrieve the data.

    triggerBody()?['msfp_sourceresponseidentifier']

    Or you can parse this field below using "Parse JSON" with a sample of your schema. n.b. the questions are Id's not question text.
