Create HTML Table from MS Flow inputs

Hi.

I have been using the Create HTML Table command successfully with Get Rows from Excel and SharePoint but when I try to create a HTML table from Get Responses from MS Forms the Dynamic Content doesn't show. Is it meant to, am I doing something wrong?

The Dynamic Content is there for Send Email and Update Excel and SharePoint.

Can anyone shed any light on this please?

Thanks,

Mike.

    Hi

I guess you already looked into the template defined for this purpose, right?

    https://emea.flow.microsoft.com/en-us/galleries/public/templates/6f59ddf2e91147e892e2ccf4f179fdb7/create-a-file-in-sharepoint-on-microsoft-forms-submission/

I have defined a Forms for testing purposes, called "Flow Test" with two questions called 'Source Dpt' and 'Question'. I can access both from Dynamic content menu. Please note the template includes a Select action Block, and its output is 'Create HTML table' input

    Hope this helps

    Hi @Mike1962,

Because the *Form field in the Create HTML table action should input an array if create columns automatically. So, if you want to make the response from MS From, you could initialize an array variable, then put these answers into an object, make this object is a member of the array:Annotation 2020-02-27 164259.png

    Hello efialttes,

I was trying to follow the steps you outlined, but I keep getting error: BadRequest. The 'from' property value in the 'table' action inputs is of type 'Null'. The value must be of type 'Array'.

I am trying to mimic the email below where my colleague's email has a small two column table. (Below that is my Flow)

    Thanks!

    Kindest Regards,

    Wolfeman

    Hi @Mike1962
I tried your solution but Power Automate always tells me to enter a valid json in the append to array variable.
I did everything the way you did in your solution, followed each step - what am I missing?
    Thanks for your help!

    Hi @ScottShearer
thanks, such little things make it work or not 😉
Can you help me: in get response details I somehow don't have the option to pick "list of response details" only "response ID" (see screenshot) which is now another problem I cannot create the html table.
    Thank you!
