Embedded canvas app with a launch button works on Android not on iPhone

Hello everyone,

I have an embedded canvas app (in a D365 form) with a button that launches another mobile app. The button works perfectly fine on my Android phone, but the button does not launch anything on an iPhone (it does act like it's pressed).

I am viewing the D365 embedded canvas app on my mobile device using D365 for Phones and Tablets app.

Any thoughts?

I'm having the same problem in the MDA web app...even with EncodeUrl it doesn't open a web link.
