Hi All,
I'm looking for some advice and/or guidance for saving photos in a mobile app to a sharepoint list.
I am developing a mobile version of a incident reporting tool. I have created a desktop version which works OK, but there is a need for a mobile version for Engineers working onsite to be able to report any accidents/incidents/near misses while on site away from the office. I am using SharePoint as my datasource.
The problem I am encountering is to be able to save the captured photos in the same SharePoint list as the incident report. I have managed to do this sucessfully when using a Edit form control, but as the requirement is to report an incident when there is no internet connection on the mobile, is to leverage the SaveData/LoadData functions and Collections in the app.
So far, I can save the data, load the data if the connection is offline, but I am struggling how to include the photos within the collection and save to local device memory and load when connection is online.
I have attached a PDF with screen shots and the button coding to give you some context to how I've built the app.
Any advice or gudiance, or links to vlogs that shows how to do this would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Derek
