Unable to refresh more than 8 times with premium

Hello,

We have Power Automate Premium and Power BI premium per user trial and we are unable to refresh more than 8 times.

This is a very small dataset and a simple flow.

We are nowhere near the 48 refresh max per day and that does not even appear to be enforced currently:

Can I exceed the 48 refreshes through the portal through the refresh API?

Refreshes are not restricted this at this time.

We have 6 days left on the premium per user license and wanted to see if this is viable before we committed to purchasing.

Hi @nickelous,

Power BI limits datasets on shared capacity to eight daily refreshes. If the dataset resides on a Premium capacity, you can schedule up to 48 refreshes per day in the dataset settings. For more information, see Configure scheduled refresh later in this article. There is no setting that could exceed the limitation of refresh limit.

Rather than relying on scheduled refreshes, we want it to refresh after the approval flow which is when the dataset is updated. This will give the users accurate data at the time of, rather than relying on a schedule that may or may not have refreshed when they checked it.

its ridiculous to keep limit on rest API call for dataset refresh. its as good as scheduled refresh at your own time but only 8 times a day..... seems PowerBi is also locked down...:D
